Alex Austin
Alex Austin is a Los Angeles-based journalist and teacher. His 2005 novel The Perfume Factory has been awarded an honorable mention for Mainstream Fiction by Writers Digest. His second novel, The Red Album of Asbury Park (2008) has recently been published in a Remixed version. Music plays a big part in this moving story about Sam Nesbitt trying to make the best of his life in the 60’s Asbury music scene.
This promising writer is currently working on his third novel, set in today's LA. In the Booktunes interview Alex already suggests some tunes to listen to while waiting for his next book!
